A Safe Place to Heal.
A Strong Foundation to Grow.
Sunshine Lane Supportive Housing is a licensed Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) for youth ages 13–18, located in Hemet, California — serving Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Bernardino Counties.
"We believe every young person deserves a stable, compassionate home where they can heal from trauma, build resilience, and step confidently into their future."
— Sunshine Lane Supportive Housing Mission
How We Support Every Resident
Our program is built around four core pillars — each designed to meet youth where they are and help them move forward.
Trauma-Informed Care
Every aspect of our program is grounded in trauma-informed principles. Our staff are trained to recognize the impact of adverse childhood experiences and respond with empathy, consistency, and evidence-based practices.
Structured, Stable Environment
Predictable routines, clear expectations, and a safe physical environment give residents the stability they need to focus on healing and growth. We maintain a calm, home-like atmosphere that feels nothing like an institution.
Individualized Support Plans
No two youth are the same. We work closely with each resident, their family, and their placing agency to develop individualized plans that address their unique needs, goals, and strengths.
County Collaboration
We maintain close, transparent communication with county placing agencies across Southern California — ensuring every placement is well-supported, well-documented, and aligned with each youth's case plan.
